In the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, we encounter the rich stories of Jesus that fall into the category of parables. All three gospel writers reported on the actions and parables of Jesus, leaving a treasure trove to enlighten all who study them. ¿ While just reading the parables enhances an appreciation for them and leads to a better understanding, there is more to each of those immortal stories than is apparent on the surface.
