Over the past 50 years Joe Millard has worked as a public and private employee and has seen the world from many different perspectives. His work background as a laborer and administrator also tint the color of his world. He has analyzed these experiences and written his first collection of poems, Seeing Through Gray Colored Lens. This collection of poems stresses the need for personal introspection when observing our society. Joe is a native Iowan and currently lives in Waukee, Iowa with his wife Fran. Their four children and six grandchildren live in various cities throughout the United States.
