April D. De Conick, Ph.D. (1994) in Near Eastern Studies, University of Michigan, is Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Michigan. She has published articles on the New Testament and Nag Hammadi literature ( VC 1990, 1991 and 1995). She speaks frequently at conferences about early Christianity and mystical experience.
