I have been a university professor in anthropology for forty years and have used this experience to show how you too can conduct meaningful research into you family's history, especially if your relatives came from Ireland as mine did. I have also written many academic articles on Irish families, and a book on Irish farmers in eastern Canada so that I have the experience that you can trust if you follow the research methods that I describe here.
