Produktbeschreibung
Asymmetrical reinforced concrete frame structure constitutes a large portion of the modern urban infrastructure due to various types of functional and architectural requirements. This irregularity lead to uneven distribution of their mass and stiffness in horizontal and vertical planes which may cause arbitrary change in strength and stiffness of the structure that is not desirable when structure is subjected to earthquake ground motion. In past earthquakes, significant structural damages and losses observed. Hence, it is important to study the seismic vulnerability of various asymmetrical structures so that the extent of structural damage can be predicted in advance. This study aims to carry out probabilistic seismic risk assessment of asymmetrical reinforced concrete frame structures subjected to different earthquake ground motions. The analytical study will be carried out by developing fragility curves for different types of irregularities under different types of earthquake ground motions.
