They can be found either in spoken English or in written English. The development of the current volume was filled with pleasure and enjoyment altogether. This would be particularly true when words were found to express new concepts, when chapters began to shape, when sections fell into place and when a coherent picture started to emerge. It is hoped that the book will make a useful contribution to the associated fields of classroom language teaching and classroom-based studies on idiomatic language. It is also hoped that the present book contribute to further practice, discussion and debate and increase students' understanding of figurative language and idiomatic expressions.
Autorenporträt
The author, as a full-time lecturer at Marvdasht Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran, has presented in several conferences and published a prolific number of journal articles. Also, besides having supervised over seventy graduate theses, he has published some books on ESP, TEFL, English translation as well as English and Persian literature.
