All the plants have been described with their scientific names, taxonomical description, synonyms, common name, local name, habit, flowering and fruiting period and medicinal uses. Photographs of each species are also provided. This book will serve an important tool in the identification of local flora of the area and will help ecologists and conservation scientists to derive conservation policies for the sustainable use of plant resource in the country.

Muzafer Hussain dar did his msc degree from Barkatullah University Bhopal in 2013. He was awarded PhD in botany in 2019. He has 15 international and 5 national publications to his credit. He has presented his papers in 5 international conferences and participated in 5 national conferences of repute.
