Kagzi lime (Citrus aurantofolia Swingle) belongs to family Rutaceae, originated in India. It is commercially grown in tropical and subtropical region of India. The present investigation entitled, "Selection of kagzi lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) strains" was carried out during Mrig season of 2010-2011. The result obtained for 23 characters of which, colour of fruit, shape of fruit, texture of fruit, appearance, flavor were visually observed and organoleptic test was done for general acceptance, while the data for the rest of 18 characters viz., height of tree, tree volume, number of fruits per tree, weight of fruit, volume of fruit, length of fruit, breadth of fruit, shape index of fruit, rind thickness, rind percentage, rag percentage, juice percentage, number of seeds per fruit, weight of 100 seeds, TSS, acidity, ascorbic acid and yield per tree were statistically analyzed in Randomized block design .
