The result indicated that Bougainvillea glabra, top soil mixed with sawdust and gibberellic acid at 100ppm concentration proved to have performed better among the three plants, sowing media and gibberellic acid concentrations respectively.

The author holds a bachelor's degree in General Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and a masters degree in Agronomy from Bayero University, Kano. He is currently working and pursuing his Ph.D as a Lecturer/Researcher at the Centre for Dryland Agriculture, Bayero University Kano, Nigeria.
