It could be concluded that organic Se supplementation to Japanese quail breeders for 8 weeks, either at 16 or 40 weeks of age, has a beneficial effect on their productive performance and this was reflected on their progeny. Since, the growth performance, thyroid gland activity and immune-response could be improved in progeny by organic Se feeding to parental stock.
