Ron Rivers has spent the past two decades building communities around big ideas. His past experiences include founding & exiting a web2 startup, serving as the Executive Director of a civic technology nonprofit, & being a long-time community organizer and an activist supporting various equity initiatives. His most recent effort is the book Self-Actualization in the Age of Crisis, which develops the new frameworks of being necessary to overcome the metacrisis.A technical generalist, Ron has helped a variety of startups scale their business operations and strategy. Ron is a highly decorated grappler with a twenty-five year grappling year including competing at some of the highest levels. The inspiration for this text draws from Ron's extensive activism, through which he came to realize that our available vehicles for change resist it on all fronts.
