Selina Chilton (born 19 September 1981) is an English actress who has appeared in theatre and television productions. Chilton is best known for her role as Ruth Pearce in the BBC soap opera; Doctors, which began in April 2008 and ended on the 17 December 2010.Chilton was born in Leicester to Michael and Karen Chilton, and, as a child, trained to be a dancer. At sixteen, she embarked on an Arts Educational Schools course studying acting, singing and dancing. She began her professional career at age nineteen.
