Rapid industrialization and the need for built space and constructed facilities in hostile and aggressive environmental regions necessitated a quantum jump in the performance of the construction materials. The bricks one of the largest used materials in construction today occupies a pride place. Therefore, the production of high quality and a ordable blocks/bricks is paramount to solving housing problems in developing countries. Thus, this book focused on design construction and testing of a brick making machine that produces quality bricks for low cost housing. This book presents the introduction to such masonry units through its manufacturing process and experimental work by performing compression test, water absorption test, cost feasibility and comparing it with the conventional clay bricks.
