C.J. 'Charlie' Houy is a veteran of Washington D.C., having served for thirty years on the staff of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Senators have praised him in the Congressional Record as "a model of responsible and enlightened public service" and "a consummate expert on defense issues." He is a recipient of the Navy Distinguished Public Service Award and the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service. Charlie splits his time between Washington D.C., and Pacific Grove, California.
