Autorenporträt
The author of five previous books, Kris Ralston was born in Seattle in 1971. She graduated from Rainier Beach High School with a 4.0 GPA in 1989. From there she headed off to Stanford University, and was swallowed up in her environment after a year and a half when she was forced to take a medical leave of absence to return home to her parents in 1991, confused and diagnosed with Schizophrenia. She has done battle with this mental health condition in all its flamboyant horror. Today she walks away, happily married, and sees a rainbow beginning to shire. With every breath she takes, she sees that hope never dies. Kris loves the life she is creating and finds fulfillment in her journey of wellness, recovery, and resiliency.
