Licia Troisi was born in 1980 and holds a degree in astrophysics. She published the first book in the Overworld saga in 2004, and since then her books have become a literary sensation both in Italy and abroad (especially in France and Germany). She is an extraordinary storyteller and has managed to create an astonishing fantasy world with a classical atmosphere, influenced by her passion for Japanese manga. Besides being a bestselling writer, she is currently a PhD student in astrophysics.
