The author of this Master's research, Mr. Abe Joel Karaba BSc. RN, MSc. MHC, served in numerous clinical positions, and currently works as a mental health counselor in Ahus University Hospital Norway, Department of Psychiatry. Before that appointment, he held various positions; Psychiatric Nurse at Oslo University Hospital -Department of Youth Addiction Treatment -Gaustad. Psychiatric Nurse in Sykehuset Innlandet HF -Department of psychiatry -Reinsvoll. General Nurse Practitioner at Outreach Program in Gjøvik Municipality. Mr. Karaba earned his Bachelor of Science degree in General Nursing from Gjøvik University College in 2006, Master of Science degree in Mental Health Care from Hedmark University College in 2012. In my view, Sense of Coherence and Quality of life measures are best evaluated through a subjective approach. Over the years, Sense of Coherence of Quality of Life measures have been adopted in epidemiological studies both nationally and internationally. This research work comes as a result of a quantitative cross-sectional study that examines the Sense of Coherence and Quality of Life among adult immigrant population in two adjacent counties -Hedmark & Oppland in Norway
