Sent: Becoming a Living Letter is the third book in The Joy of Christian Discipleship Series developed by Dr. Morehouse and his experienced team and the last study guide in their three-part Celebrate Salvation® group discipleship study course. Each of the of three 68-page course workbooks covers a Stage in the discipleship of a committed Christian believer, starting with 3 steps of conversion to faith in the first book, Saved. Sanctified is the next book in the course and covers 3 steps of growth in discernment and maturity. This third book, Sent, finishes up with a significant study of how to carry out the Great Commission. Both Saved and Sanctified are available to complete the full course, along with a published book of Handouts to accompany the lessons in all three. The three course workbooks are designed to serve as study guides for small discipleship groups of 2-12 (ideal 3-8) committed members. Each guide is divided into twelve weekly 4-page studies containing four studies on each of the three steps in the first two books and four studies on each of the three ways of carrying out the Great Commission - in Word, Deed, and Power - in the third. A dedicated group can expect to complete each workbook together in about 12 weekly sessions.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Dr. Morehouse has been a committed Christian for over 45 years. As a family physician, he joined with others in founding a comprehensive faith-based medical clinic where he and his colleagues have ministered to thousands of people in body, soul, and spirit over the decades. In the 1980s he was involved in establishing medical relief in South Lebanon during the country's civil war and began drawing close to the heritage, land, and people of Israel in the process. In community with many others, Dr. Morehouse and his wife and family were introduced to the Biblical festivals and have observed them and celebrated Passover together on numerous occasions. Since "graduating into retirement" in 2018 Dr. Morehouse has been devoted to continued spiritual growth, study, writing, and teaching about the Kingdom of God. He has had long personal experience with the material covered in The Biblical Festivals, including A Passover Seder.
