He attended law school in France but decided to focus on writing instead. In addition, Flaubert is renowned for his rigorous writing style. He is noted for always striving for "le mot juste," or "the correct phrase," in all of his writing. "Salammbô," "Sentimental Education," and "Bouvard and Pécuchet" are a few of his other works.
