SHAYA LEWIS-DERMODY is a specialist family lawyer with almost twenty years' experience. Her book Separate Ways was named a Finalist for the Australian Business Book of the Year Award in 2020. A finalist in the national Women in Law Awards in 2019 and 2020, in the categories "Thought Leader of the Year" and "Innovator of the Year", Shaya has also been voted by her peers as a Doyle's Guide leading lawyer. Shaya is the founding director of The Family Law Project, a socially responsible and progressive Family Law firm with a focus on access to justice. Regularly featured as a thought leader in her field, Shaya has conducted media interviews with ABC Radio, The Saturday Paper, Domain and many more.
