Raised on Asimov, Card, Salvatore, Clarke, and so many others, J.D.'s childhood was full of science fiction, spaceships, swords, and family. He got sidetracked from writing by having to work for a living. Several years later, and lots of work later, he has decided to to set aside some of that personal time and re-create those worlds that were in his mind when naively climbing trees at Vanderbilt. Serenity War is his first Science Fiction novel, he has dabbled with some Non-Fiction books as well but will more than likely not return. He has raised two young men with his wife and partner who has blessed him for 20 years.
