This book is a monograph with detailed investigation on risk factors of metabolic syndrome and its relationship with serum ferritin in postmenopausal women in Enugu, Nigeria. Metabolic syndrome is a cardiovascular risk factor of public health significance and changes in body composition during menopause may dispose an individual to an increased risk of MS and its consequent health conditions making the postmenopausal women to be at higher risk of morbidity and mortality from noninfectious diseases.
