James Strock is an award-winning author and speaker on leadership. His passion for the practice of leadership spans four decades. He's an independent entrepreneur and reformer in business, government, and politics. He is the founder of the Serve to Lead Group, serving clients across the US and around the world, since 1997. Strock also served as a senior executive in the public sector, including as the founding secretary for environmental protection for the State of California; the chief law enforcement officer of the US Environmental Protection Agency; general counsel of the US Office of Personnel Management; and special counsel to the US Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Strock served to captain in the USAR-JAGC, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He divides his time between Arizona and California. He can be reached at servetolead.org.
