Although there are numerous definitions for the broad concept of Service Learning (SL), it could be defined as a methodological technique that combines the learning of curricular content with community service. Its application allows students to put theory into practice by being protagonists and solving real problems in their environment, thus encouraging meaningful learning and motivation. In this way, theApS has the double objective of forming students academically and civically.
