Danica Barreau lives in central Ohio with her menagerie and a very patient schoolteacher. Her childhood was spent in France and Germany and she moved to the US to attend The Ohio State University.Danica is the owner and artist of Pouka Art & Photography (https://pouka.com), dedicated to fine art animal portraiture since 1998. She is a PPA Master Artist, Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, and Certified Professional Photographer as well as an AIM Master of Animal Imagery. Her dog art (and her chili) has won many awards, including at the prestigious International Photographic Competition, Prix Photographie de Paris, and her first book, "Setterly Yours", received a Silver Medal from the Independent Publishers.
