However, the achievement of integrated and sustainable regional development requires the application of a series of measures, first and foremost the improvement and modernization of municipal management and its management style. It is with this in mind that the PGL has introduced the foundations of good local governance, in particular raising awareness of the need for communes to equip themselves with an internal audit structure that will enable them to detect the risks they face, evaluate them, and ultimately help them to achieve the objectives they have set themselves.
