Living in a rural area gave Cathy her first material before moving to the coast. It was there she found peace and began writing more frequently. Cathy has always written stories and poems since childhood and released her first novel - Seven Signs, through Balboa Press. Her second book, Journey from the Soul is her second collection of verse. Based on train journeys, adventures and moments of quiet thought, the words may not be perfect, though Cathy believes they should be left as they were first written as she feels it is how life is..without perfection. Cathy has recently released her next novel, Bass Point Boys. under her author name Cate Beresford
