West Bengal is believed to be the third most populated state of India and here at least half of the population is the female counterparts. In this book the author wanted to discuss the present scenario of women empowerment in India in comparison of West Bengal. The crimes against women are growing rapidly both in India and West Bengal. Hence in this book the author with the help of several tables, data, pictures, maps and charts tried to find out the true picture of crimes against women in India and West Bengal and also tried to find out the possible way out.
