Full color edition: Sevyn Nova has just celebrated her 12th birthday. She's now ready to join the other children from Earth as they go to Planet Camp-the place that determines every child's future. Sevyn knows exactly what colony she wants to be placed in at the end of camp: Her brother, Atlas, is being sent to a new planet, and she would do anything to be reunited with him. It seems easy enough until the campers are told that only five of them will be selected to go to the new planet. That means Sevyn will have to stand out from the crowd and be the very best. She quickly makes friends with twins Finian and Garvin. The boys couldn't be more different if they tried, but their bond is unbreakable. The only thing they want from Planet Camp is to end up in the same colony. As the campers face new tests and challenges, their plans quickly begin to unravel. The twins' differences start to show more than ever, proving that their skills might not land them on the same planet. Sevyn's loyalty to her friends compromises her goal when she chooses to help them at her own expense. Her rival, Ember, takes every opportunity to show off and put herself in the spotlight. Sevyn's efforts to be placed on the new planet are thwarted at every turn, leading her to the most important choice of her life: doing the right thing, or betraying her friends in hopes of being one of the chosen five.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
I love children of all ages. It is such a joy watching them grow, not only physically, but socially and mentally as well. I have worked many years with children and have loved every minute. I am always amazed how fast they learn, and I love being a part of that learning process. I have worked in the classroom and in many summer camps for kids and teens, helping them build confidence and self-esteem to conquer their tasks. I have kids of my own that I have encouraged to succeed and be independent, and have many young and teen nieces, nephews, cousins that I have mentored through the years. I have been told I am the best teacher, encourager, and confidence builder many times over. I love seeing everyone succeed, especially in their courage, certainty, and self-esteem.I love sailing, photography, hiking, camping, scuba diving, motorcycle riding, and spending time with family. If it involves water, outdoors or family, then chances are I love it.
