Brenda Rodgers is a native Houstonian. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Home Economics) and Counselor Certification from Sam Houston State University and a Masters of Science Degree from The University of Houston. She was employed as a public educator for over 25 years and retired as an academic counselor. Brenda has been married to her husband Kenny for over 41 years. They founded Anointed Faith Family Church located in Tomball, Texas in 1999. Brenda has ministered throughout the country speaking on the area of rebuilding family relationships and breaking generational curses. Brenda is also the founder and President of Anointed Impact Community Development Corporation (AICDC) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which is the home of The Impact Community Center. Its purpose is to create a resource environment that targets illiteracy, gang activity and violence, drugs and alcohol, teen pregnancies, unemployment, abuse intervention and counseling, school drop-outs, health and wellness, parenting skills, and concerns of senior citizens. Through the AICDC four children and teens mentoring programs have been birth, Royal Princess (girls 1st-5th), Queens of Tomorrow (girls 6th-12th), Young Kings (boys 1st-8th), and Modern Day Knights (boys 9th-12th) to service the needs of the Tomball and surrounding Northwest communities. In 2015 Brenda founded the Impact Preparatory Academy for ages six weeks-Pre-K, as well as an after school program for K-5th located in Tomball, Texas.
