Anand's third collection of poetry is a book of sometimes erotic poems is entitled appropriately enough, Sex and the Single Girl Revisited. Yes, even the cover is a fun nod to the first edition of the famous 1962 classic piece of literature written by Helen Gurley Brown. Sexuality is a hot topic these days and anand provides us with some hot topic poems, witty, wildly imaginative and super-real. The influence of Bukowski shows up most in this collection with tales of wild nights, drinking, and other frolics. Her succinct twisted sensibility comes out strong in "Winning," "missing your vibes," "Problems With Superiority" and "green pants." Each and every poem is accompanied by a hand-drawn piece of unique artwork by anand herself, and also by a talented illustrator from Croatia, Bernarda Saldo. In addition, outstanding work by artists from around the world (United States, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India, Romania, the Ukraine and Poland) were included.
