George Hamilton Teed (1886-1938) was a Canadian author who specialized in adventure fiction and detective stories. He is best remembered for his tales of Sexton Blake, a fictional British detective who was wildly popular during the first half of the twentieth century. Over 200 authors penned Blake tales throughout the character's 70-year run, and Teed is considered by many to be "the master of them all."
