Debbie S. Dougherty (Ph.D. University of Nebraska) is Professor of Communication at the University of Missouri. For more than 20 years, she has been one of the premier scholars studying sexual harassment, with publications in such journals as Harvard Business Review, Human Relations, Communication Monographs, Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Applied Communication Research, and Sex Roles. She has also provided training and development on sexual harassment and culture for a number of organizations, including the National Park Service, The United States Army, and the University of Southern California Marshal School of Business, among others.
