Parents, the most consistent influence in children's lives, are in unique position to influence young people's health and personal development, and their transition to sexual life. Parents are the first socializing agent of the children. The family stills plays a significant role in the lives of young people. Family environment plays a key role in the timing of sexual and reproductive health transitions in adolescents.
