This book covers a wide variety of research areas including various countries and periods, but also different ways of working on the relationship between sexuality and nation. Some authors study the fractures of the modern Latin American subject both as a citizen and as a desiring subject, others work on the performance of sexuality and citizenship, and many work on the issue of both political exile and exile as a result of the ostracism of sexual minorities.
