The theme developed refers to sexuality in people with cerebro-medullary injury.As regards the etiological and epidemiological factors of the SCI, there are few recent national studies in this area. After analysing and comparing some studies carried out in the last ten years with people with cerebro-medullary injury, we concluded that there are several dimensions of their sexuality that are influenced by the limitations caused by this type of injury. Thus, it was found that coitus is decentralized and other forms of sexual activity are valued.
