Autorenporträt
The Legend of Mr. SwagNificent Mr. SwagNificent decided to share his 60+ years of blood, sweat and tears the best way he knew how- through poetic vernacular. This literary expression of self is a dichotomy of elucidation and failure. Highs and Lows. Romance and Tragedy. Self-inventory and Remorse. As early as the third grade he was called the enigma. As a catholic highschooler his charm and influence were intoxicating. His college stint in North & South Carolina was more of a cult phenomenon than athletic fan following. His 15 years of United States Naval service introduced the world to the King of Chaos. Prince of Shenanigans and Grand Master of Mayhem. His legendary rise to prominence began as a child with a book, a dream and a lie. In five different decades, he's had five different wives. Mr. SwagNificent is a walking contradiction. He's the correctional officer, who should have been locked up himself. He's the cat that used up all 9 of his lives by the age of 34. He's fathered a child in four different decades, despite having a vasectomy after baby number one. Although he's rubbed shoulders with Pro-Sports legends and Hollywood's elite, he doesn't consider himself special. He's resided in 7 different countries, 8 different states and 20 different cities (but stateside he's only averaged 3 years of residency). Mr. SwagNificent is also the personification of trivia. Case in point, who else was born the same year and month as the original Japanese Godzilla movie? Survived 4 serious brushes with death? Walked away from Corporate America and decided to start a business at the age of 54? Created 2 California based magazines (X'treme Nailz International & Ambi'ance Uncut) at the age of 63? And dropped his first bestselling urban novel at age 70? Just like water, Mr. SwagNificents life continues to seek its own level. And he doesn't appear to be slowing down.
