Matthew Block lives near San Diego, California. He's been writing since he was a teenager, but didn't publish his first work of fiction-under the pen name "Dr. Block"-until he was in his early forties. He is very stubborn. If he were a Shadow Guardian, he would be Tang. He likes to garden, surf, and hike in the mountains.
