Africa, 1888. Trying to forget the past that took her best friend and her mother away, Sonnet Gray busies herself with helping to build a hospital, while at the same time taking care of a precocious child. Together with Israel Rhode, the one man she can trust, their safe haven is discovered by an old enemy who needs Sonnet to get back to where he came from. London, 1931. Bedlam Asylum has never been a safe place, and Rose Gray isn't getting any better. Consumed with rage and insanity, Rose isn't the only Gray who has learned to control her ability to travel through time. From the dark alleys of Jack the Ripper to the Spice Islands of Zanzibar, Sonnet and Rose make their way through the eras. One is controlled by love, the other by revenge, but only one of them will be strong enough to end their story. The other will simply remain lost.
Autorenporträt
Melyssa Williams is a mom, sister, daughter, wife, friend, ballet teacher, ex-contemporary dancer and ballerina, and writer, who resides in Southern Oregon. She was homeschooled back in the day when it was slightly odd and eccentric, which came in handy when she decided to be an author. She drinks coffee too often and reads fiction at inopportune times. She has parented inner city teens and thinks she might want to sky dive, but that's about all the excitement she can handle. Other than that, she finds baking bread and sipping wine to be the most thrilling parts of life. As an excellent pen-pal back in the day, she can guarantee if you drop her a note, she will write back (and maybe send some stickers or something): http://melyssawilliams.wix.com/melyssa-williams
