Brent is an award-winning actor, screenwriter, playwright, novelist, director and producer. He has appeared in over forty American television series/films and won a Best Actor Leo Award for his chilling performance in FF Coppola's First Wave. His performance as Edgar Allan Poe in his first produced feature Poe - Last days of the Raven garnered a Best Feature Award at the Cinema City International Film Festival at Universal Studios and was he was nominated for a Best Director Gemini Award. Brent has written two professionally produced stage plays, Poe - The "highly" Unusual Life of Edgar A and Raising the Conch - The Way of the Kundalini Goddess. His screenplays have been optioned by Janis Chaskin at New Line Cinema and A list producer Doug Claybourne . He is also the President of Theater Crossing Film Corp. dedicated to producing feature films that have a high literary element and a strong moral and ethical component. Theater Crossing's feature film on Edgar Allan Poe's life, Poe Last Days of The Raven, was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Director for Mr. Fidler. Poe won Best Feature Film at the Cinema City International Film Festival held in Los Angeles, run by Suzanne Du Laurentiis. Poe aired nationally on Bravo. Mr. Fidler has written three novels, Shadows of Nagasaki - a sci-fi/horror story about reanimated atomic shadows who enact revenge on the descendants of the Manhattan Project (to be launched August 2020) and Crack'd - a biting satire about human vanity and the absurd cosmetic cures seven friends undertake to slow the aging process and Waltzing in the Devil's Heart (Autobiography of an Unknown Seeker) - the author's autobiographical account of seeking the divine in the fires of sex, drugs and Hollywood. The latter two are now being marketed for agency consideration.
