Saltoris ist eine brasilianische Journalistin, Schauspielerin und Theaterregisseurin, Unternehmerin und Gründerin des YouTube-Kanals Halls in The Forest und Autorin fantastischer und gotischer Geschichten, die etwas zu sagen haben - und die sie frech Literatur nennt, im Sinne von ernsthafter Arbeit. Auch wenn sie lieber über Hexen und Kobolde schreibt als über Menschen des 21. Jahrhunderts, die Dinge erleiden, unter denen wir im Alltag leiden. Dafür liest sie Zeitungen oder ruft eine Freundin an, der das Herz gebrochen ist. Ariane wurde Ende der 80er Jahre im brasilianischen Rio de Janeiro geboren. Sie lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihrem Sohn in Berlin.
