Growing up in the golden age of the 1940s-1950s in California, a farm kid became a Navy seal, and then a deep sea diver.The kid was one of two Navy raw recruits that were selected from boot camp for the Navy's prestigious Under Water Demolition Training (UDT).Graduating in class 29 and joining UDT Team 12, the author pushed the boundaries and depths of early diving.After years of experimental diving, he took all his skill, knowledge, and courage into the world of a Deep Sea Diver.Traveling the world, breaking and setting records, foundations were laid for what both modern life and modern diving would become.Yet, the humble family man always remained.
