LaWanda M. Staten is an accomplished writer, past TV show host, and active volunteer in her community. Her previous book, "How to Kill Your Willie Lynch," was well received and translated into a stage play. In her community, La Wanda served as the Public Relations Commissioner Chairperson for the City of Carson, CA and Ambassador for the city of Arlington, TX. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Human Service Commission for the City of Gardena.In her free time, LaWanda enjoys her most rewarding job: being the mother of two wonderful sons, Landon and Lance.
