Autorenporträt
Lynn Parrish Sutton writes children's books and nature poetry. Shape Families is her first book with Star Bright Books, and she hopes you'll enjoy getting to know the shapes and their families as much as she did. Her other picture books include Animally, Americanly, Also an Animal, Oceanly, Once Upon a Timely, and Spacely. Her poetry and personal essays have appeared in many publications such as The Christian Science Monitor, Mothering Magazine, Taproot Magazine, Ladybug Magazine, and Babybug Magazine. She lives in Vermont with her family and enjoys her four grown-up kids, watercolor painting, walking, knitting, reading, and daily cuddles with her big orange cat. She grew up in Massachusetts, and loves spending time with her family and friends in Vermont, Boston, and Cape Cod. Jake Tebbit trained as a graphic designer and has an MA in Children's Book Illustration. Living and working in a farmhouse on a hilly farm in England, Jake knows and loves sheep and other farm animals, which led him to write and illustrate Woolly the Wide Awake Sheep, a humorous counting book. He also illustrated Pirates in the Library, published by Star Bright Books. Giggles and laughter are the distinitive qualities that readers always find in his work, and Shape Families is a prime example. Jake enjoys singing, playing traditional British folk music, and he travels when he can.
