Autorenporträt
Kelley Motzny graduated from Walsh College with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems in 1993, and graduated from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University, with a Juris Doctor in 1998. During her days in law school, she met her current husband and they were married just prior to her graduation. After a few years practicing law, they started a family, and she decided to stay at home and raise their 2 daughters. Her and her husband have currently been married for 19 years. Since 2009, Kelley has been a professional photographer. Her photography business, Magik Photography, was born out of a desire to take better images of her 2 daughters. In 2013, she took the business to a new level by adding a partner. Their focus is primarily graduating seniors and they also photograph families and children. Check out her work at www.magikphotography.com. At the age of 12, Kelley had a huge desire to learn to draw. After several unsuccessful attempts at drawing people and wildlife, she picked up a ruler and pencil, and started drawing crazy shapes. Thus, the idea behind this book was born. In the beginning, the drawings were just for fun. At some point she decided that they needed to be shared with the world. All of the drawings in this book were hand drawn. The only tools used are pencil, ruler and a few assorted shape templates. It is the hope of the artist that you get great joy and a sense of accomplishment out of coloring these drawings.
