Life under the direction, and at times strict tutelage of his Uncle Demetrius, the Delegate of Washington D.C. This rigorous course catalog of education consisted of indirect training in; communication tactics, psychology, physical fitness, political science, and a litany of many others. All deemed appropriate for Demetrius to convert the young, traumatized boy into the formidable wolf he could become, as this story unfolds. However, despite all the time expensed into these pieces of training, Taylor surpassed all of his Uncle's expectations, and then some. Taylor thrived in his urban environment, as well as in just about any environment where wit and charm could propel an individual. With additional keen insight, he creatively cultivated and curated a niche entrepreneurial enterprise with the assistance and support of a group of close friends from his childhood. The time finally came to where Taylor was deemed ready to be given the ultimate challenge of his life. This journey if he would be brave enough to seek the courage to accept its tenants would completely change the trajectory of his entire life as he understood it. To do so, Taylor will have to face many of his demons. In addition to many other unforeseen obstacles soon to present themselves and increasingly so with every additional step into the void of the core of the challenge presented before his feet. The choice is an insatiable thing to resist. What will he do? How will he choose to go about it either way knowing what could lie ahead?
Autorenporträt
My name is Jomo Sekou Henderson. All my life There was absolutely nothing that I obtained that did not exact a high price. Nothing was simple, nor was it easy. Starting from my birth. Born out of wedlock as a premature baby. My Birth Certificate didn't even list my weight it was so unbelievably low. The hospital demanded that my Mother sign almost a full ream of documents absolving them of their liabilities in the event of my imminent demise (as they believed it to be) before I was to be released into her care. From my first days alive There were people counting on my death, negotiating on how to rid themselves of responsibility in its details. I could not have known these things at the time, but they would soon become the forecasting of many patterns of events to come. I dealt with and ultimately conquered bouts of aggressing parental rearing, abandonment, and neglect. There was psychological abuse within my own home before I reached the age of nine, or even able to even know or realize. Had it not been my Grandmother who instilled in me just enough support and reinforcement for me to become self-reliant (before I fully understood what that even meant). That and the upbringing delivered from two very different yet extremely similar individuals in matters regarding being mental militancy. What they created was a formidable mind and a resilient young man who to this day can only be described by those who actually know me enough personally as relentless. While still quite green in many other areas, I had no other choice but to figure out most of everything else on my own. This dis-advantage/ vantage point (perspective) merely forged me into an active listener, and keen observant to behaviors many would not pick up. After working several jobs, by mostly talking myself into the front door without taking "No" for an answer, much was learned about employment and life. So much so that I took initial steps into entrepreneurial ventures not enthused in being an employee longer than need be.
