Autorenporträt
Carole Cliffe is an educational consultant and taught in public schools for over thirty years. She has a degree in psychology, and minored in history. She was a recipient of the Staples/Imax Teacher to be Remembered Award. Also received awards for National Educator of the Year thru educational organization CEAI, as well as California Teacher of the Year Award. She was awarded for her Character Education Development Project thru Character Education Partnership. She is the CEO of Character Building Concepts, which is dedicated to providing curriculum which integrates positive character traits which promotes good citizenship. Her teacher resource book Character Quilting, published by The National Center for Youth Issues in Tenn., provides outstanding, creative, lessons for grades k-8. She has authored six children's books which targets the needs of multiple learners thru colorful visuals, easy to remember rhymes. Her latest book about USA states preserves the American heritage in a delightful animated, informative way capturing student's interest, and is a great resource for any classroom. Her love for travel, exploration, and experiencing different cultures, is reflected in this book. She has dedicated this book to military and hard working nurses that have kept us safe, and modeled the true spirit of America, sacrifice, loyalty and courage, during the pandemic. Carole Cliffe has been an adjunct professor at three colleges and has trained student teachers. In addition, she has written educational articles for various magazines. Her international credits include writing curriculum on democracy for Albania, missions work overseas, and teaching International Foreign Exchange students for two international companies, along with hosting students from abroad in her home. Carole enjoys crafts, traveling, tennis, hiking and swim, and is always up for a new exciting adventure in travel. She resides in Santa Clarita, California with her husband, James Cliffe, and has six grandchildren.
