Helga Weiss was born in Germany during the hunger winter in January 1947. She left in 1965 and lived in London, Toronto, Northern California and India. BA German Literature, MA Interdisciplinary Art (Image/Text) San Francisco State University. Postgraduate studies HBK Braunschweig.She is divorced, has 2 daughters, and 4 grandchildren in the US. Returned to Germany in 1990.
