This workbook is for children and adolescents who have a history of developmental trauma. It is a tool to help them express and communicate their core feelings and their inner wounds. It is also a tool to help them describe some of the defenses that they may have used to cope with their trauma. The book will eventually teach them some coping skills to help heal their heart. We are hoping to educate youth about some of the effects of trauma on their core self. It is meant to be used with the guidance of a mental health professional.
