John Baylis is currently an Emeritus Professor at Swansea University. He has taught at Liverpool University and later at Aberystwyth University, where he was Professor of International Politics and Dean of Social Sciences. Before retiring he was Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations and Pro-Vice Chancellor at Swansea University. He obtained his Master's Degree and PhD from Aberystwith University and his D.Litt from Swansea University. He spent two periods teaching in the United States at the University of Virginia and Brigham Young University. He is a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales, the Academy of Social Sciences and the Royal Historical Society. Anthony Eames is the Director of Scholarly Initiatives at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, and also a professorial lecturer in the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. He earned his PhD in history from Georgetown University and holds a master's degree from King's College London. In addition to his monographs, Eames' scholarship has appeared in Technology & Culture, Journal of Military History, Mediterranean Quarterly, and other publications. He has spoken widely on nuclear and national security issues in both the United States and United Kingdom.
